the deck chairs
where my neighbors used to sit …
the slow drift
of dogwood blossoms
into their empty pool
—Chen-ou Liu, Canada
rainless clouds
and the muffled wind…
a peacock calls
from every window
I happen to open
—Minal Sarosh, India
cirrus duplicatus
the parallel trunks
of loblolly pines
slanting sunlight falls
through possum ribs
—Joshua St. Claire, USA
summer evenings
our glasses filled
with pomegranate juice
the afterglow at the horizon
a deepest red I’ve ever seen
—Lakshmi Iyer, India
