There is something absolutely magical about looking up at the sky after the rain. Everything seems so fresh, beautiful, and vibrant, and the tranquility that comes after a downpour cannot be described in words.

Rediscovering the sky is like rediscovering my own self.

For me, rain evokes inspiration to write. I often find myself with a pen, jotting down the thoughts that come rushing in when I hear rain falling.

Music that can accompany you while reading, recently been listening to this piece, so sharing with you.

Petrichor, the smell of earth waking up, is so calming, and I don’t know why but it feels nostalgic as well. It is as if I belong to a place far away that holds my true self still intact, or if some buried, forgotten memories visit me again.

It’s a little difficult to express the way rain brings all kinds of emotions to me.

Maybe that’s why rain is a recurring theme in most of my poems and writings. ✨️

Reading poetry or any beautiful piece of literature when it rains is so surreal, so beautiful.

It just adds a sprinkle of magic to the simple life that is happening around.

We become the spectator of nature’s masterpiece while nature keeps on creating its art, flowing gently with the soft breeze, the colors of the sky painting the waters, the sound of the river flowing, singing birds jumping in and out of a puddle.

And after the rain, a rainbow is that colorful arc of nature’s magic show that reminds us that beauty often follows storms.

Everything feels quieter, and this calmness invites us to pause and reflect.

Yes, I’m fully aware of how heavy rains and storms can create havoc in our lives. But when it is in moderation, there is no denying that nothing can be as beautiful and meaningful as rain after hot, sunny days.

So next time, do not miss the chance to step out in rain and feel alive.

Let the rain come to you with the beauty of life 🙂

Here’s a little poem for you:

after the rain
soft breeze…
what more could I wish
for a simple day
like today
