Submissions created using AI tools will not be accepted.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are less interested in perfection and more drawn to depth, presence and clarity. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We do not publish political advocacy, explicit adult content, religious proselytizing, or violent\/harmful material.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Any submission that violates these guidelines may result in future submissions being declined or banned.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Response Time<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are a small journal.<br>Please allow <strong>2\u20134 weeks<\/strong> for a response. If you do not hear back within this time, feel free to follow up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Rights<\/strong>, please read carefully- <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Writers retain full copyright of their work<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>By submitting, you grant us the right to publish your work on our platform with due credit.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>By submitting, you also grant us the permission to share your published work, or excerpts from it, on our official social-media platforms for purposes related to the journal, always with appropriate credit to the author.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>All submissions must be <strong>original work<\/strong>.<br>Plagiarism or copied content will be declined and may result in a ban.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Editor reserves the right to edit for clarity and format, request revisions, or decline submissions at their discretion.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:#f0ebeb\" class=\"has-inline-color\">In case of <strong>no response<\/strong> from the poet\/author when permission or clarification is required, the work will not be published.<\/mark><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The editor reviews submissions carefully. However, we cannot be held liable for plagiarized content that is not identified during review. The responsibility for originality lies with the contributor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You also grant The Bougainvillea Journal permission to include your published work in freely accessible PDF editions, year-end collections, anthologies, archives, or other compilations produced by the journal, with appropriate credit to the author.
